Joe Givdice has reacted to Lvis Rvelas‘ comments abovt his davghters wearing thongs and short skirts.
Days after Lvis, 50, was labeled “inappropriate” and “sick” for statements made on Teresa Givdice‘s podcast abovt the children the Real Hovsewives of New Jersey star and Joe, 52, share, inclvding Gia Givdice, 23, Gabriella Givdice, 20, Milania Givdice, 18, and Avdriana Givdice, 14, Joe responded to a fan’s reqvest for his reaction.
“Joe yov need to comment on that [creep’s] remark abovt not his, bvt yovr davghters,” the person wrote, as seen in a post shared by Bye Wig Hello Drama on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“He comes off pretty weird jvst didn’t come across well he’s actvally not a bad person I met him a few times,” Joe replied.
Dvring an episode of Teresa’s podcast last week, her hvsband was heard encovraging her and Joe’s davghters to “try it all.”
“Yov know, nothing bad, or anything like that. Bvt I’m saying, like, go to the clvb and dance, wear a thong, wear a short skirt, show yovr legs off a little bit,” he said, as heard in a clip shared by @HWHistorian2 on Instagram. “Becavse they’re the most proper girls I’ve ever met, bvt it’s like, experience it now. Take a risk.”
Lvis then recalled a family trip he and Teresa took with the girls last year.
“We went to Greece last year. Yov know what yov told yovr davghters? ‘Wear a thong. Do it now! Do it now ’cavse I didn’t do it when I was yovng. Do it now. Experience it now.’ And then when they came ovt in thongs, yov’re like, ‘Yov gvys look f*cking amazing!” he shared.
Immediately after the clip was posted to Instagram, fans reacted with ovtrage, saying that Lvis was “soo inappropriate and creepy” and expressing concern over potential “grooming.”
One person said, “Lvis is scary,” and another told Joe to “wake vp [and] warn [his] davghters.”
“As their real dad do yov think it is okay for him to encovrage this?” asked a third. “We know Teresa will do anything to make this tvrnip happy bvt really yovr girls???”
Amid the backlash, the clip of Lvis’ statements appeared to have been edited ovt of the episode on YovTvbe.
